BEAT THE BULLYING
Pony Malta raised its voice for all of them. We launched the first freestyle battle against cyberbullying, teaming up with those who best know how to respond to attacks: freestyle rappers. A live event streamed on Twitch, YouTube live, Facebook, Instagram and Periscope. But instead of fighting against each other, the freestylers teamed up to respond in real time to real hate messages teenagers receive on a daily basis. As the messages were shown live on the stage screen, the artists responded with verses. Furthermore, we used all the lyrics from that live stream, and we launched ‘Beat the Bullying’s first single. The single was released on Spotify and YouTube, along a music video. In the first week, it surpassed 2MM views.
